The heat has driven me out of our home

We reached our breaking point last night at supper. Fairly new baby, record high temperatures, no air conditioning. John and I looked at each other. I said: call your mom.

We arrived at Omi's in St Catharines last night around 9:00 after the quickest packing, cleaning the kitchen and putting out the garbage job ever. Henry complained most of the way down. Henry screamed for an hour after arriving.

And yet.... TOTALLY WORTH IT.

I've heard of the scorching heat in Eastern Canada. I hope it will cool off a bit for everyone in the next days.

hope you can cool off and perhaps Henry will start falling asleep faster and staying down too.

He actually stays down really well - it was just that one time at the cottage that he woke up again - that's really unusual and it was because he was still hungry. We're lucky with him that way.

Today is much better. Hallelujah!
